Year 6 - UPPER Key Stage 2 (Ages 10–11)
Leadership, Mastery, and Preparation for the Future
Year 6 is the pinnacle of the Primary journey at Richmond Park School — a year filled with challenge, opportunity, and personal growth. As the oldest pupils in the Primary School, children step into leadership roles, building confidence, resilience, and independence as they prepare for the transition to Secondary education.
Through inspiring, thought‑provoking topics such as World War II, The Vikings, and Countries of the World, learning becomes deeply connected, meaningful, and relevant. Specialist lessons in Spanish, Music, Computing, PE, and Food Technology enrich their final Primary year, while exceptional pastoral care ensures every child feels supported, valued, and celebrated.
