Visit to Teatro de la Zarzuela

As part of the Music and Spanish curricula, Years 3 and 4 visited the “Teatro de la Zarzuela” to attend the puppet play “La increÁ­ble historia de Juan Latino”.

They followed the story with great interest. They listened to baroque music played on instruments such as the “viola da gamba” or the baroque guitar. We all enjoyed the wonderful performance, especially the extraordinary puppets, and children learned about many aspects of life in 16th century Spain.
