RPS continues to strengthen its commitment to the Vipeika Foundation and early childhood education in Kenya.
The celebration of Vipeika’s 15th anniversary recognised a remarkable journey defined by solidarity and social impact.
Over the past fifteen years, the foundation has provided early education to 21,966 children.
It has also established 16 educational centres and awarded 43 secondary school scholarships and 10 university scholarships.
In addition, its work has created stable employment for 132 teachers. As part of this mission, RPS has supported the creation of Richmond Park School Nursery Kenya in Lodwar, Turkana. The school has now been officially inaugurated and currently welcomes more than 120 pupils, with capacity for 200 students. It includes fully equipped classrooms, outdoor learning areas, solar energy and water filtration systems. RPS also provides nutritional support and scholarships to ensure the continuity of each child’s education. Food supplies remain secure thanks to the agreement established with the Government of Kenya.
Lions Club España, through its Mijas delegation, has donated €1,200 to improve the children’s diet. Initiatives such as TingaTinga and House Days have brought together creativity, education and solidarity across the school community.
Families, pupils, teachers and the owners of RPS have all played an active role in funding the project. This collaboration shows how every contribution can create opportunities, dignity and hope. RPS and Vipeika will continue working together to build a brighter future for the children of Turkana.
