This is the time of year when the school leadership team is finalising the planning for the next academic year. Richmond Park School is expanding rapidly and, also, each year we want to create more initiatives and projects. As a consequence, we need to appoint new staff and keep developing our facilities and resources. In particular, our secondary school has to respond to this rapid expansion and the challenges posed by the examination system. Next year, our oldest students will be taking their IGCSE examinations and the following academic year they will commence the IB programme.

The key to continued success is having high quality teachers, who will commit themselves fully and over time to our school. We are delighted to say that we are retaining all our present staff and we have also appointed three experienced and highly talented secondary teachers, who are leaving their posts as heads of department or head of section in other British schools to come and work for Richmond Park School. In addition, our new secondary leader has a wealth of experience and is presently leader of a group of eight schools in England.

The senior leadership team are confident that these major appointments in the secondary school, together with the existing strength of our Early Years and Primary teams, will ensure we continue to make significant progress, maintaining what is already working so well and, at the same time, continuing to develop the range and quality of education we provide.
