From March 6th to 9th, the 47th Annual Conference of the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS) brought together educators, school leaders, and industry experts for a dynamic and insightful gathering. The event served as a platform for collaboration, professional development, and discussions on the future of British education in Spain.

The conference opened on Thursday evening with a gala dinner, setting the stage for meaningful connections among Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members and distinguished guests.

On Friday, NABSS President Adrian Massam and Amaya Cal Linares, Subdirector General of the Unidad de Acción Educativa Exterior, officially launched the event. Their addresses underscored the importance of continuous improvement and cooperation in the British education sector. Attendees then engaged with a series of thought-provoking keynote speeches exploring educational trends, innovation, and best practices. Meanwhile, the exhibition area was bustling with activity as top suppliers and service providers showcased the latest resources for schools.

Saturday was a pivotal day for NABSS members, featuring the Annual General Meeting (AGM) alongside further keynote sessions. Discussions delved into key issues such as school leadership, curriculum development, and the evolving landscape of British education in Spain. The evening’s awards ceremony saw several institutions, including RPS, earn well-deserved recognition for their contributions to education.

The conference wrapped up over the weekend with hands-on workshops tailored for teachers and middle managers, providing practical training and strategies to elevate classroom experiences.
