The aim of this session was to raise awareness of the importance of sexuality and affectivity in human beings, of the new pornography, and to provide parents with tools to address this issue with their children. We also listened to his ideas about the different practices that exist in the digital sphere in relation to pornography and sexuality. Sitting on the red velvet seats in the stalls, they had the chance to listen to the guide explaining the details of the main hall, while they saw the orchestra pit, the big chandelier, and the balconies all around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile is-image-fill\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\" style=\"background-image:url(https:\/\/richmondpark.school\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Opera.jpg);background-position:50% 50%\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/richmondpark.school\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Opera.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5062 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/richmondpark.school\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Opera.jpg 480w, https:\/\/richmondpark.school\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Opera-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>They also walked up and down the theatre, visiting the make-up and characterization, costumes and wigs workshops, rehearsal rooms, the \u2018camerinos\u2019 and the backstage. The experience finished at the main terrace where they could take a look at the Plaza de Oriente and the Palacio Real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They all were very excited about all they had seen and the guides expressed their surprise at our students\u2019 musical level. It definitely was a great start!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:39px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong>Music studies<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>As part of their music curriculum, Years 6, 7 and 8 attended an adaptation of Gioachino Rossini\u2019s \u2018The Barber of Seville\u2019, at the Real Teatro de Retiro.&nbsp; It was an amazing, colourful and children-friendly version. The session focused on the fizz of teaching led by Nina Jackson. Nina has a wealth of experience in education including the publication of teaching books for colleagues to use and share in educational centers around the world. She traveled from the UK to be with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was an interactive session with lots of opportunity to collaborate and share ideas. It was great having them there throughout the day! In an entertaining match hosted by Richmond Park School, both teams played with excellent spirit and competed well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Iban made some great saves and was protected well by the two centre backs, Pablo and Pedro. RPS showed off their attacking skills with the terrific trio Guille, Gonzalo and Martin all adding multiple goals to the scoresheet. Gabriel returned to the squad after injury and everyone was delighted to welcome him back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday 4 November the league season commences with a fixture against Numontinos. The whole squad has prepared brilliantly, and we are all excited for the season to begin.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:39px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>First victory against Numontinos<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>On a rainy Saturday morning, Richmond Park School&#8217;s team started their league campaign with a victory against Numontinos. The team put in a terrific performance which was reflected in the 17-0 scoreline.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>There were goals galore but the team&#8217;s success started with some solid goalkeeping from Iban. He was always calm and composed and distributed the ball well. Pablo and Pedro were a solid base in defence once again and Juan Pedro and Alejandro had great games, playing in both defence and attack. Angela put in a brilliant performance and added a goal to compliment her fantastic all-round play.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team now has a week away from league action and will play a friendly match next Saturday 11 November&nbsp;here at Richmond Park School. Our next competitive fixture is on 18&nbsp;November against St George School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>Friendly match against Hortaleza<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Richmond Park hosted Hortaleza in an exciting friendly match on Saturday, which finished 5-3 to the visiting team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iban and Alvaro made some outstanding saves to keep us in the match, showing great athleticism on multiple occasions. The defending from Pedro, Pablo, Alejandro, Juan Pedro and Angela was fantastic and they contributed magnificently. Guille, Gabriel and William also worked hard for the team and played some excellent football in midfield. After going 2-0 and then 3-1 down, we never gave up and got back on level terms thanks to a brilliant double from Gonzalo and a great strike from Beltran. Hortaleza put a lot of pressure on in the second half and scored two late goals to eventually win the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>Football match against St. George\u2019s School<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This Saturday we played against St George school. It was a sunny day and we knew it was going to be a great day for Richmond Football Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 40%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Iban, Juan Pedro, Angela, Pedro, Alejandro and William were doing a great job guarding the goal. Gonzalo, Erik, Guille, Alejandro, Angela and me, Martin, were quickly moving the ball box to box and scoring many goals. The final score was 15-3 but above the result we played a great game as a team. Our game was good, not only with our passing but also at shooting. The first half was very equal, but then in the second half we had an incredible recovery with a final score of 8-4 to Richmond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We showed very good skills when defending and attacking. We had several opportunities to score, and finally we had 8.
