The Mise-en-Sc\u00e8ne initiative aimed to combine foundational photographic techniques while fostering creative interpretation and personal style.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-80a1cb3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"80a1cb3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure class=\"wp-caption\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"724\" src=\"https:\/\/richmondpark.school\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Ana_1-copy.jpeg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-17567\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption class=\"widget-image-caption wp-caption-text\">Frozen Stare, Ana Year 10<\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3f8b5cf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3f8b5cf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mastering the Golden Trinity<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The students delved into the \u00abgolden trinity\u00bb of photography: aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Through practical workshops, they manipulated these settings to achieve many desired photographic effects. The selection included Ansel Adams, surrealist Man Ray, war journalist Robert Capa, and social commentator Annie Leibovitz. They planned mise-en-sc\u00e8ne photo sessions \u2013 designing studio spaces, selecting models, coordinating make-up, and gathering props to bring their visions to life.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One student opted to shoot on location \u2013 choosing settings such as Dehesa deer park to enhance the compositions he found in Sebasti\u00e3o Salgado\u2019s sprawling landscapes. With the aid of her obliging model (and fellow art student), another student used a period fashion piece to explore the interpretations of light in Adams\u2019s photography.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0624928 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"0624928\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure class=\"wp-caption\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"724\" src=\"https:\/\/richmondpark.school\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Ines_2-copy.jpeg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-17579\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption class=\"widget-image-caption wp-caption-text\">Turning Independent, In\u00e9s Year 10<\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d865729 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d865729\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Post-Production and Results<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After wrapping up their photo shoots, it was time to refine their images using Photoshop. The resulting images were a striking blend of technical skill and creative expression, especially considering the brief timeframe in which the students acquired and applied their expertise.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This project has undoubtedly laid a strong foundation for these budding masters of light, who stood on the shoulders of giants and saw new paths to pursue their artistic quests.
