Richmond Park School has taken another step in one of its most ambitious and meaningful international initiatives to date: RPS Nursery Kenya<\/strong>, an educational project that embodies the school\u2019s long-standing commitment to global solidarity, equal access to education and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the summer months, construction work on the new nursery made significant headway. The school, located in a rural community in Kenya, is being built in collaboration with the Vipeika Foundation<\/strong>. When completed, it will provide daily education and care for around 150 children aged between two and six years old<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project aims to open its doors during the first quarter of 2026<\/strong>, offering not only quality early education but also nutritious meals, basic medical care and a safe, nurturing environment<\/strong>. This initiative is part of Richmond Park School\u2019s ongoing effort to extend its educational values beyond borders and support children from disadvantaged backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRPS Nursery Kenya represents a truly significant step forward for our school community,\u201d a spokesperson said. \u201cIt reflects our belief that every child, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project also plays an important role in the school\u2019s International Baccalaureate (IB)<\/strong> programme, particularly in relation to Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS)<\/strong>, offering students the chance to learn about other cultures, develop empathy, and take part in real-world actions that make a difference.As construction nears completion, Richmond Park School is now inviting families and supporters to help cover the nursery\u2019s initial operating costs through monthly sponsorships or donations<\/strong>. Contributions will go towards essentials such as construction of buildings, school uniforms, meals, and resources for the children and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAny contribution, no matter how modest, will have a lasting impact,\u201d the school added. \u201cTogether, we are building not only a school, but a future filled with hope and opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All donations will be managed through the Vipeika Foundation<\/strong>, with full adherence to current data protection legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richmond Park School expressed its gratitude to the entire school community for its ongoing generosity and engagement. \u201cThis project is a powerful way to show our children that empathy, cooperation and social justice are not just values to be taught \u2014 but to be lived.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
