Como adultos, estas transiciones pueden tener que ver con, por ejemplo, relaciones, tener hijos, cambiar de empleo o mudarse de residencia. El proceso es, con frecuencia, complejo e incluye muchas emociones diferentes que abarcan desde incertidumbre inicial, ansiedad y dudas, a mayor autoconfianza, autoestima y optimismo. Los ni\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n experimentan transiciones cruciales, tanto en su vida familiar como en el colegio. Nuestro papel como profesores, gestores y l\u00edderes es apoyarles en todo momento y de todos los modos posibles y crear y mantener una estrecha relaci\u00f3n con los padres en este proceso. Tanto si est\u00e1n comenzando el colegio en Early Years, cambiando de ciclo, o entrando en Secundaria, debemos ayudarles a asentarse r\u00e1pida y felizmente. Este a\u00f1o, todos hemos venido a un colegio nuevo con una gran cantidad de espacios de aprendizaje atractivos y variados, nuevos profesores, nuevas rutinas, modos de aprendizaje expandidos, y restricciones COVID. M\u00e1s que nunca, tenemos que asegurarnos de que las transiciones sean tranquilas y positivas.       <\/p>\n<p>Nuestra prioridad es garantizar que cada individuo se siente atendido, apoyado y apreciado. Los alumnos necesitan que se escuche su voz y creer que pueden aprender de forma efectiva y alegre. Si necesitan cualquier tipo de apoyo, se les proporcionar\u00e1. Si pueden avanzar m\u00e1s deprisa, se les dar\u00e1n mayores desaf\u00edos. A lo largo de toda la vida escolar, desde Early Years a Secundaria, nuestro personal intercambia constantemente informaci\u00f3n sobre cada ni\u00f1o, respecto a su desarrollo personal y sus logros acad\u00e9micos. Se mantienen reuniones formales y se comparten datos. En EYFS y Primaria hay una potente estructura de apoyo, mantenida por los tutores de cada curso y el equipo de ciclo. Los tutores tambi\u00e9n juegan un papel esencial en Secundaria. En estos momentos estamos desarrollando un extenso programa personal, social, econ\u00f3mico y de bienestar (P.S.H.E.), que permitir\u00e1 ayudar a cada individuo y, al mismo tiempo, fortalecer la comunidad de alumnos entera.        <\/p>\n<p>El colegio conoce bien a sus alumnos, pero los padres tambi\u00e9n necesitan participar en ese conocimiento. En la situaci\u00f3n actual no nos ha sido posible ofrecer, por ejemplo, jornadas de puertas abiertas, sesiones curriculares y reuniones cara a cara con los padres. En estos momentos el colegio est\u00e1 buscando formatos alternativos de comunicaci\u00f3n. Recientemente hemos enviado informaci\u00f3n resumida sobre el curriculum y nuestro proyecto iPad. Tambi\u00e9n se est\u00e1n organizando reuniones con padres por medio de Microsoft Teams, que tendr\u00e1n lugar antes del \u201chalf term break\u201d. Estas sesiones pueden proporcionar informaci\u00f3n importante acerca de la adaptaci\u00f3n de cada ni\u00f1o a un nuevo escenario, instalaciones y comunidad educativa, y sobre sus progresos acad\u00e9micos iniciales.     <\/p>\n<p>Son tiempos dif\u00edciles para las familias y los colegios. Nos enfrentamos no s\u00f3lo al miedo a la infecci\u00f3n en s\u00ed, tambi\u00e9n a sus posibles consecuencias mentales y emocionales. Trabajando juntos los ni\u00f1os adquirir\u00e1n herramientas de defensa.
