Hace algunos a\u00f1os, hubo una tendencia a cambiar <g class=\"gr_ gr_35 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style multiReplace\" id=\"35\" data-gr-id=\"35\">esta frase<\/g> y hablar sobre<g class=\"gr_ gr_32 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"32\" data-gr-id=\"32\"> \u00abaprender y ense\u00f1ar\u00bb<\/g>, que enfatiz\u00f3 el punto clave de que los ni\u00f1os deben estar en el centro del proceso de <g class=\"gr_ gr_31 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"31\" data-gr-id=\"31\">aprendizaje<\/g>. Algunas sesiones son m\u00e1s dirigidas o guiadas por el maestro y otras permiten que los alumnos tomen la iniciativa. Se trata de encontrar un buen equilibrio. Fundamentalmente, los maestros no transmiten el conocimiento sino que ayudan a los alumnos a perseguirlo, los gu\u00edan hacia una comprensi\u00f3n profunda y los ayudan a adquirir habilidades y destrezas para aplicar lo que han aprendido a la vida real. Pasar\u00e1n de la simple memorizaci\u00f3n a la creaci\u00f3n.        <\/p>\n\n<p>La ense\u00f1anza debe ser variada y motivadora. La transmisi\u00f3n funciona en l\u00ednea recta, pero el aprendizaje creativo necesita m\u00faltiples \u00e1ngulos, <g class=\"gr_ gr_26 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"26\" data-gr-id=\"26\">curvas y c\u00edrculos<\/g>. Los alumnos necesitan oportunidades para trabajar en parejas y grupos, hablar y escucharse, resolver problemas, investigar, explorar, usar su imaginaci\u00f3n y creatividad. Nuestro colegio tambi\u00e9n tiene que hacer un buen uso de las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, dando a los alumnos la oportunidad de aprender y expresarse de diferentes maneras. La ense\u00f1anza de <g class=\"gr_ gr_28 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"28\" data-gr-id=\"28\">alta calidad<\/g> ayuda a los alumnos a pensar por s\u00ed mismos, a abrir sus mentes a diferentes posibilidades, a ser m\u00e1s aut\u00f3nomos, fuertes y seguros de s\u00ed mismos. Las actividades de aprendizaje deben desafiar a los alumnos y animarlos a hacer un uso completo de sus diferentes habilidades e inteligencias. Dentro de este proceso, el <g class=\"gr_ gr_25 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace\" id=\"25\" data-gr-id=\"25\">h\u00e1bil cuestionamiento <\/g>de los maestros juega un papel crucial. Las preguntas son, al menos, tan importantes como las respuestas. Son las preguntas las que gu\u00edan y estructuran el pensamiento de los alumnos, los empujan para llegar m\u00e1s lejos, los inspiran, los emocionan y los entusiasman. Igualmente, la <g class=\"gr_ gr_27 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"27\" data-gr-id=\"27\">retroalimentaci\u00f3n<\/g> frecuente y espec\u00edfica ayuda a los alumnos a saber qu\u00e9 est\u00e1n haciendo bien y c\u00f3mo pueden mejorar.         <\/p>\n\n<p>La reciente investigaci\u00f3n a largo plazo realizada por el University College de Londres ha demostrado, de manera contundente, que las experiencias de los primeros a\u00f1os a\u00fan tienen un gran impacto en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes a los 18 a\u00f1os. Aunque se manifiesta en diferentes formas, a\u00fan necesitan tiempo en c\u00edrculo para sentarse, escuchar, hablar y pensar juntos. Necesitan aprender jugando: actividades entretenidas, sesiones dirigidas por profesores y alumnos, juegos de lenguaje, pensamientos, ideas, \u2026 la alegr\u00eda de la creatividad.  <\/p>\n\n<p>En nuestro colegio, los alumnos tambi\u00e9n recibir\u00e1n un fuerte apoyo en su desarrollo personal, social, emocional y espiritual. Adquirir\u00e1n valores fuertes, como el respeto, la amabilidad y la acci\u00f3n directa para apoyar a los dem\u00e1s. Los profesores proporcionar\u00e1n excelentes modelos a seguir y ayudar\u00e1n a los alumnos a reflexionar sobre c\u00f3mo aprenden y viven juntos. Los valores deben ser puestos en pr\u00e1ctica y luego compartidos.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Nuestro colegio constar\u00e1 de muchos espacios de aprendizaje, dentro y fuera del edificio. Un espacio de aprendizaje vital es el hogar. Los padres deben trabajar en estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con el colegio, para que los ni\u00f1os tengan una educaci\u00f3n integral, tanto como alumnos como personas. Ante todo, los ni\u00f1os necesitan tiempo con sus padres.
